Lemon & herb skillet chicken
Golden chicken, a bright lemon pan sauce, and plenty of fresh herbs.
Ingredients
Let’s make it
- Pat chicken dry and gently pound to an even ½-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, adjusting heat as needed, until the thickest part reaches 165°F (74°C). Transfer to a clean plate.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Pour in broth and lemon juice; scrape up the browned bits and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Swirl in butter, lemon zest, and parsley. Return chicken and any juices to the pan, spoon over sauce, and serve.
