Peanut-sesame cabbage noodles
Spaghetti, crunchy cabbage and carrot are tossed with a measured peanut, soy and lime dressing.
Ingredients
Volumes are approximate. For baking, use a scale; Metric keeps the specified gram weights.
Let’s make it
- Cook spaghetti in plain boiling water according to its package until just tender, usually 9-12 minutes. Drain, rinse briefly under cold drinking water and drain again very thoroughly. No cooking salt is included in this formulation.
- Whisk peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger and half the warm dressing water until smooth. It may tighten first; keep stirring. Add the remaining water and sesame oil, whisking until pourable.
- Toss noodles with cabbage, carrot, scallions and all the dressing. Lift and turn repeatedly so no peanut paste remains at the bottom. Rest 5 minutes, toss again and divide into four equal portions. Serve promptly or refrigerate within 2 hours; use within 3-4 days. Stir chilled leftovers before serving. No chopped nut garnish or extra sauce is included.

Calculation notes & sources
ESTIMATED per serving. Brand, crop, preparation, draining, pan residue and substitutions change actual nutrition. Not laboratory analysis. Raw or dry food profiles match pre-cooking edible masses. All listed oil and retained cooking liquid are counted. Cooking moisture changes do not change the stated portion count. No generic nutrient-retention factor is invented. Calories are kcal; protein, total carbohydrate, fat and total sugar are grams. Total carbohydrate includes fiber and is not net carbohydrate. Fiber and sodium are not displayed. Equal portions define yield; counted biscuits, eggplant rolls, loaf slices and custard cups are explicitly divided. US/Metric display changes do not change these canonical inputs. Primary-source supplements are retained per ingredient where USDA lacks a field; missing values are never silently changed to zero.
